![]() But for finding bugs and glitches, testing the game itself out, especially for someone in a situation like me where i only get a few hours to play in very spread out periods, speeding up the process to get an idea what i want my base to look like instead of gathering resources to rebuild 30+ times because im very OCD about building, I appreciate the ability to cheat. I wouldnt consider anything done like this an accomplishment obviously, nor would I rate the gaming experience based on what was found here. Bears still bug out with foundations etc.īut it also allows you to learn the map a bit easier, or search for a cool spot to build a base and see how you want to lay it out etc. Definitely not worth the hype and most definitely not worth your time and money.Considering the game is in alpha stages and very little of the content is released yet, I can see using cheats to test things out, speed up processes etc.īuild a huge base and test how the different parts work, such as last i knew steps dont work snapped directly to doorways. For me it felt like the developers tried to please every audience, appealing to the more mature players with the gore and blood and the younger crowd with stupid jokes and comic relief that feels completely out of place in the game. One of the things that killed this game for me were the comic relief parts, I swear to God sometimes it feels like you are watching a Marvel movie and not playing a God Of War game rated 18+ only. The story is ok, there is one good plot twist and the rest is just very predictable and safe, not to mention that the ending was very rushed. The combat for the most part is good, not much improvements over the last game, only one new weapon was added, the traversal is very, very boring, linear and predictable, full of invisible walls that strip away player freedom, there is no way to be creative, no way to try something different, and the parts where you get to play as Atreaus are the worst of the whole game by far. The puzzles are extremely underwhelming, not to mention that every time you start a puzzle, within 30 seconds a stupid NPC will always give away the answer, no matter what you do. A game that is really popular with adults, treating it's players like mindless toddlers. One of the things I liked most was Odin, he is the best created character for me, they managed very well to make him seem like "the manipulator", being able to deceive even the players, you know he is "evil" due to his past actions, but in person he never seems bad.ĭefinitely a big letdown for me. I certainly had fun with the game despite its problems, but I was also happy that I got it on a 60% off sale, it wasn't worth full price. The game has some pretty grueling gameplay parts, involving walking without combat. The dialogue got worse, it received a few Marvel elements, it received a hint of "comic". ![]() Kratos here is very soft, you can even understand it in the context of wanting to be with his son, but he went beyond the point and became too soft. GoW Ragnarok takes many things from the first one, improves it a little, and follows the same line as the first trilogy, you load little from the previous game, start almost from zero and have to improve everything again, the problem is that this works better in game structure of the original trilogy.
